The drive to Lanikai from Honolulu International Airport is less than half an hour (directions to the Vacation Home will be mailed with your reservation), and about the same time to downtown Honolulu, Waikiki, and the Ala Moana Shopping Center. But just five minutes down the road is Kailua town, where you can shop at Macy's, Safeway and two other large grocery stores, Longs Drug Store, Ace Hardware, the US Post Office, three major banks and numerous speciality shops. Restaurants of all kinds abound - plus just outside Lanikai, across from Kailua Beach there is Buzz's Steak House, where you might sit at Bill Clintons's table!
